About

For event listings: Save Tonight is a Charlotte-based tribute band bringing the best of 90s and 2000s rock back to life. From Third Eye Blind to Foo Fighters, Green Day to Matchbox Twenty — they play the songs that soundtracked a generation, and they play them like they still matter.

There's a moment at every Save Tonight show — usually somewhere between the opening riff of "Semi-Charmed Life" and the final chorus of "Closing Time" — when the crowd stops being an audience and becomes a congregation. Strangers lock eyes and shout lyrics they haven't thought about in twenty years. Couples grab each other's hands. The guy in the back who "just came for a beer" is suddenly air-drumming with tears in his eyes.

What makes Save Tonight more than just another cover band is their refusal to treat these songs as museum pieces. When Scott leans into the mic for Third Eye Blind's "Jumper," there's an urgency that suggests he's singing it for the first time. Ricky's guitar work walks the razor's edge between faithful recreation and inspired interpretation. Behind them, Brian and Mike form a rhythm section that hits with locked-in precision. These aren't just "the hits" — they're the songs that soundtracked first kisses, summer road trips, and late nights when the radio was the only thing that understood you.

The Band

Scott
Scott Lowder
Vocals & Guitar
A familiar face on stages across the Charlotte area, Scott has built a strong following as a solo performer and is booked through two separate entertainment groups. His voice and stage presence anchor the Save Tonight experience.
Ricky
Ricky Stewart
Lead Guitar
Ricky brings a sharp ear and natural feel to every song he touches. While newer to the live circuit, his guitar work speaks for itself — faithful to the originals where it counts, with an instinct for knowing when to push beyond them.
Mike
Michael Gollmer
Bass
With over 30 years of live performance under his belt, Mike has played stages from Philadelphia to Florida and everywhere in between along the East Coast. His steady, locked-in bass work gives the band its foundation.
Brian
Brian Ervin
Drums
Brian brings more than 30 years of drumming experience to the stage, having toured and performed across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Florida, and West Virginia. His timing and energy are the engine behind every set.
